I started tuition with Robert in 2003. On meeting him for the first time I was interested by his lateral approach and his very grounded and impressive ability with music. He seemed to understand what it was that I was trying to achieve, which was to be able to put my ideas down in a comprehensive musical fashion.
We have covered a great deal, including practical use of Modes and applied theory. Using these skills he has taught me how to make things more complex and in many ways unique. He has been a great influence and guide in the work that I do.
